Shree Jeewan Hospital traces its heritage to the practice of Dr. Bodh Raj Ji, the founder of the Hospital, in Jalalpur (now in Pakistan) in the year 1920.
Jeewan Hospital Charitable Trust was formed with the sole purpose to provide specialized, high Quality medical care to the less privileged population. It is a Tax Exempted, Non Religious, Government recognized, voluntary organization. We are equipped with state of art equipment to facilitate world class eye care to the low socio-economic class. The aim is to treat all socio-economic classes with the same high quality of care.
The Trust holds a charitable OPD for the economical weaker section daily from 9 am to 11 am. Besides Consultation, all the investigations and procedures are carried on at highly discounted price for the patients registered in the Charitable OPD.
Besides the Camps held in the Hospital, camps are also held in other areas of Delhi and neibouring villages. This is done along with other NGOs and religious organizations. Camps are also held for Rotary Club. The Patients are screened for Cataract and other surgeries and brought to our center for surgery and followed up at our center free of cost. Free Camps are held 4-5 times a year at Shree Jeewan Hospital, New Rohtak Road, New Delhi. Free consultations by the specialists are done and free medicines are distributed. All the patients who are registered in the camp are followed up in the Charitable OPD free of cost.
